Francesca Romano
After graduating with a degree in law, awarded with honours and a score of 110/110, Avv. Francesca Romano obtained a PhD in criminal procedure. She was admitted to the Turin Bar in 1995 and gained higher rights of audience to the Supreme Court in 2007.
She joined Studio Lageard in 2020, having worked previously at Studio Zaccone in Turin between 1993 – 2019.
She provides both litigation and out of court advisory assistance to national and international companies and corporate groups and deals mainly with cases involving workplace health and safety, crimes against public safety, environmental crimes, corporate and tax crimes, medical negligence and corporate administrative liability pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/2001.
She has published articles on environmental crimes, crimes against public safety, tax crimes, regulations on the prevention of money laundering and provisions on cheques, bills of exchange, currency and credit cards. She has also worked with the Order of Chartered Accountants of Turin on drafting a standard text for company Organisational Models and Supervisory Boards, pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/2001.
She has an excellent working knowledge of French and English.
